Please find below the results of Round 3 of the
2007 UKSRL Summer Series.
After a meeting of the Sweeps at Watergate Bay,
observation showed that the surf conditions at 6ft+ and the
number of surfers in the sea would make racing extremely difficult. It was
agreed that the event would move to the backup venue of Towan Beach, Newquay.
Conditions at this venue were flat growing to 3ft
clean surf.
The UKSRL would like to thank all crews for making
the move speedily and with good humour, racing began at 7:30pm and finished at
9:45pm
Round 4 UKSRL Summer Series is at Bude,
Crooklets on middle beach on the 21st July start time 3pm.
WARNING !......... Bude SLSC will move
your surfboat and trailer from the car park to the beach..........THE SAND IS
VERY SOFT AND IT LIKES TO CLAIM A 4WD.
Crews are also reminded that named crew entries
close for the 2007 UK Open Surfboat Championships at midnight of the 21st July
2007.
