Following the great success of last year's inaugural event, the UKSRL once again invites crews of 4, men or women, to compete in the U.K. Open Surfboat Championships. No experience necessary! Boats, equipment and sweeps provided. Pre race day training and coaching also available.

    The UKSRL Surfboat Championship will use a “Round Robin” pointscore system with semi- finals and finals races to decide the eventual winners and place-getters. So plenty of racing for every-one! (please see the UKSRL Rule Book below, for more details.) 

    Organizers are delighted to announce that once again AussieBum, Pure Blue Water, SurfedOut and Skinners Brewery will be supporting this event and are providing refreshments for all participants. A presentation ceremony will be held immediately after the event where specially commissioned medals will be presented to crew members finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both Men's and Women's categories, as well as trophies for the winners. There is also a great night out planned which offers a chance for rowers and supporters to let their hair down! 

    All crew members must join the UKSRL [£15 Senior/£10 Junior (Under 18 yrs) - Application forms below] and those who do NOT hold a recognised RLSS, SLSA GB or ILS lifesaving qualification, must perform a 200m pool swim (no time limit) to be assessed by your club official or club coach prior to competing in UKSRL events.
