Team GB (Blue Bali) in da house

Want to know what it feels like to pull on your country’s colours?

Want to know what it feels like to clash oars with the might of Australia and leave them in your wake?

Want to know what it feels like to be a mortal on a Day of Giants? When the surf is 8′ and you’re in the starters’ hands.

See you in the Blue Bar, then. This Saturday, 26 March, from 8pm. Flatties, be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

Any interest?

British Rowing are after the top 51 places to go rowing. Check out the site at

Now, forgive me, I do not hold a neutral’s view on this. But how can a duck pond ie lake or stretch of river compare to the wild, wild seas where we do our stuff?

Everyone agree?
