Here’s a random thought. A coach of UKSRL-ites heading out of Cornwall with pasties and a bottle or two, off to watch some poncy flat water rowers say how hard it is to row on a lake. Or maybe off to watch some athletics, cycling or swimming (got to keep the sweeps happy.)

Now, forgive me, I do not hold a neutral’s view on this. But how can a duck pond ie lake or stretch of river compare to the wild, wild seas where we do our stuff?
