Robin Hood - Director Ridley Scott - Surf Rowers

MEDIEVAL SURFBOATS IN HD!

Surf Rowers pretending to be Normans

In the year 2009 a voice called out across all of Britain in search of help.
The voice was heard and in their hundreds, …........THE ROWERS CAME..

Led by a gnarled and sage waterman whose withered leg bore the scars of untold campaigns, a small band of desperate warriors strove to mould great champions from their maniacal conscripts.

Their quest lead them to the depths of south west Wales where the grisly nature of their task was revealed:
INVADE ENGLAND (ok Wales) and attack Robin Hood's army.

At their disposal....four 37 foot wooden surfboats....with 10 rowers....and 15 soldiers....(yes 25 in all)....in chainmail........with weapons........two tonnes of people per boat..............in 3 foot surf!

They soon found themselves in the presence of greatness. A man of many faces with a gift of deception so great as to make you doubt the evidence of your own eyes. “Watch me lads, I'm an Ack-Torr” said JR, confident that his experience as a tree in a school play 50 years before put him in prime position for a major role in this £200m pound blockbuster. “It wasn't a speaking part” he admitted later.

They died a thousand deaths. They made a thousand friends and they ate a thousand paninis.

Now you can see how they got on in the new ROBIN HOOD MOVIE out May 14th.

…..oh and Russell Crowe's in it too.
